the Netherlands

The work with plants and using plants as medicine in the Amazon has been happening for thousands of years, but in the last few hundred years, the pharmaceutical industry and modern medicine have taken over. This has changed the way we see and treat diseases and health disorders.

In many ways, we get imprinted with certain belief-systems already from a very young age, and this can later on lead to feeling unfulfilled, which is also the understanding we have, also coming from these traditions, one of the main factors that can lead to health disorders.

The Amazon traditions of medicine and healing are similar to modern science, yet the way they are performed is very different. It takes a lot of inner work to break free from the chains that keep us stuck.

Our maestro Sany Meny will be coming to the Netherlands again to give a Master Plant Diet. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the power of the Sacred Master Plants in the middle of nature in the Netherlands at a beautiful location in Weert. Will you be there?

Sany Meny (Wilter Javier Lopez Romayna), our maestro with whom you will collaborate, has been on the shamanic path for many years. Over 20 years ago, he began working and studying with plants with his mother, Maestra Claudia. His mother has been on her path for over 40 years, and they have continued to collaborate to this day. He eventually became a Maestro and began working as a shaman himself after many years of learning and practicing with her and his recently deceased stepfather. Later on, he became a "Onaya," which translates directly to "The one who sees" and is the second grade of their studies in this tradition. (The third and final level of shamanic studies in this tradition is known as "Meraya," which translates to "Master of the Masters.")

His Shipibo name, Sany Meny, belonged to his grandfather in the past. The name was passed down through his initiation and given to him as part of this initiation. Sany Meny translates to "The one who heals" in Shipibo. Sany Meny tried to make a living off his work over the years, and began working at various centers throughout Peru. After a while of working, he had a vision in one of his ceremonies about establishing his own center.

This vision began to take shape in 2019 when his Uncle, Orlando, Claudia's brother, granted him portions of his land in Paoyhan to build his center. He had also gotten in touch with both Daphne and Johnny, as well as our team in Holland, at the start of this process, which all helped him financially in the process of creating the center.

The center was completed in 2021 and is now an operational healing and plant medicine center.
He now lives and works with his family at his center, as it has also become a family business!

The Shipibos use Ayahuasca to learn how to connect with other plants, and to make the brew that is used in ceremonies today. Through the ceremonies, they also learn how to do dietas, which help them to strengthen their connection with the Master Plants.

Ayahuasca is used for the opening and the closing of the dieta, as it connects us to the plants we're working with, and also seals the connection between the human world and the plant world.

“Plant treatments” is the category for the plants and the medicines that will be presented, applied and used here during the retreat. More specific details on this will be presented later on within the times of preparation.

“Additional Activities” is the category for all that will take place outside of the ceremonies and the direct work with plants. These are activities such as sharing circles, workshops, guided meditations, qigong, breathwork etc.

However, these sections can vary, and it all depends on what is needed, and to what isn’t needed on the specific days. It may therefore be that some activities will either be added to, or taken away from this schedule.
